Attire and Dresses

 

The males attire and dress code during thr mid 14 century to 17 century during the Adil Shahia Rule in particular and Deccani platu in general.

The arttire and dress speciman includes for royal family the King, Queens them selves, Ministers, Bobelman, Poets, Sufis, Royal Women, Hareem life (Life within the women palace) and the common men and women, Head gears, Caps, Kullaies, Ethnic Jewellery, Women Wear, Kalamkari Art Work, Illkal Sarees etc.

 
The Sultan wears a splended gold Jama, with touched sleeves, patterned with embralled green peakok eyes. This amezing textile was probably the work of highly Kalamkari craftsmen under the patronage of Bijapur Court.

The nobelman of the Deccani Court of Bijapur wears a finely hand stiched cloth Jama.with long sleeves, with neck scraf gold zardosi work. there is a kamarband tucked with dagger (khanjar). The nobleman is holding a silver tick with diamond on its edge. The head gear is of black cloth with gold zardosi patti, without a kalgi.

The merchant is adesting the neck scarf. The Turban is white matching the dress. The dress is simple yet elgant and class of its won.
